āYou with a beard?ā She could only picture such an image-- to which garnered a laugh. Soon she cleared her throat, attempting (and failing) to maintain a straight face.Ā āOh... well Iām sure it looked good.ā
Loud Man ( @krinjiā )
"HEY I DON'T LIKE THOSE CHANGES AT ALL!?" he squeals, looking at a modernized Squad 4 barrack. "THIS AIN'T WHAT I LEFT BEHIND? WHAT ARE THEY DOIN'?" Was this really happening now that Unohana was gone? He pouts and chews on his stick a little stronger, leaning against a wall. Sighiing. "Man... I'm glad I ain't a captain anymore."
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Sheād spent PLENTY of time at the fourth. Be it for medical reasons or merely to swap formulas between the twelfth & them. Generally, it was relatively quiet. The majority of the people within itās walls being timid healers or patients ATTEMPTING to rest.Ā So why was this man stomping about, screaming about KAMI KNOWS WHAT? Chiyoās head tilts, offering the man a LESS than friendly stare. A brow perches high, as ICY optics shoot daggers in his general direction. āIs there a REASON youāre making so much noise in a place of rest?ā
@krinjiā replied to your post: what happens if i die in soul form? do i die die...
hm thatās a good question, pal
so you donāt know either.
@krinji ha risposto al tuo post :Ā xĀ .
What would you suggest should it have been instead?
i donāt have a universal suggestion, because i feel the lore could have developed in a great number of ways. i just wish there would have been more depth to the unequivocal political dimension of soul society, with a special interest for the social injustice and the power games. but more than anything, it would have been nice to see ichigo & co confront the flaws in the system more crytically, since getting a different point of view other than the shinigami one seemed off the table.Ā

āAwesome. Some brat from the 5h felt like not listening to my quarantine guidelines and met with tons of other people two days ago. A witness contacted me. I want to discipline him.ā B(
āSounds like a right pain. Name and rank - tell me the fucker and Iāll beat his ass.ā It wouldnāt be the first time she had sent men from the fifth division to the medical wings.
@krinjiā said: "Lift yer arms higher. That's pitiful! Higher I said! How else are ya supposed to breathe evenly? Yoga is an instinct okay? And now stand on one leg!"
How in the world did they get to this? Chinatsu was losing her patience... probably why she had been recommended to yoga in the first place. Even then! She huffed at his persistence and critiques, as if she didnāt have centuries of training already.
āIt might help if you didnāt treat me like a kid.ā She huffed with a frown. It was like a pout, that of a spoiled child.
Still she managed to follow his directions. However, she still wanted to yell at him in frustration. Maybe later, when she wasnāt focused on her balance. When it was all said and done, heād definitely get an earful. For the time being, she shot him a nasty glare.
Verses: Sibling AU
Sibling AU with @krinjiĀ
The most painful goodbyes are the ones that are never said, and never explained.
Headcanons developed with @krinji for an AU where Kirinji is actually Hiyoriās older brother (well brother by a loose definition in the world of Soul Society as they are not blood related). This is an AU, so a lot of time-warping is done to canon. Sort of.
Found her as a young, starving child after a hollow attack and instead of leaving her to fend for herself, noticed her spiritual pressure and actually tried to find her a better residence in Rukongai than her current slum dwelling.
After healing her, he had to go back to the Gotei, but tried to spend time with her, which proved difficult. Once every few years heād come back, but it took her longer and longer to recognise the man who told her to call herĀ ābig brotherā. She still remembered every swear word and brutal fighting style he had taught her.
As a busy captain in the Gotei, the time he spent with her was limited- therefore to keep a closer eye on her he asked for Kirio Hikifuneās assistance, upon which the woman agreed.
Hiyori enlisted in Shināo Academy and graduated within 7 years as she failed the final exam the first time. She lost contact with Kirinji
She still managed to join Kirioās division, with Kirinji keeping sporadic check-ups on her. It is during this time they reconnect only for him to join the Royal Guard.
He says goodbye and they lose contact with only very infrequent letters exchanged between them. The loss hits her quite deeply but she has Kirio by her side to keep her spirits up.
Kirio Hikifune leaves to join the Royal Guard. The loss is sudden and severe. No letters are exchanged at all after this event (well, Hiyori sends letters for aboutĀ a year, but she gets no replies). She still has a pile of unsent letters somewhere in the twelfth division.
Hiyori becomes a vizard.
100 years go by with no contact.
