*text prompt list under the readmore
This year will mark 10 years since the release of Dragon Age: Inquisition! In celebration of that anniversary and the game that gave us our first trans character, here is a prompt list - and dates - for any who would like to participate! All sorts of creative content is accepted so long as they are not A/I generated. (See examples below)
*If you want to portray Maevaris Tilani instead, that is also fine!
Please read the guidelines!
If you have any questions, reply to this post and I will do my best to answer :)
An In-Tents Situation
also on AO3
Kremâs tent has a hole in it.
That would be annoying by itself. Heâd been meaning to get a new one for a while, but heâd put it off, thinking it would last him a little bit longer. Apparently, that little bit has come to an end. However, that annoyance is compounded by the fact he now has to share.
The Chief offers, and with the biggest tent, it makes sense to share with him. Krem loves him, in a way you can only love someone who saves your life, someone who gives you a home. The Iron Bull has been great, never once questioned who Krem is or how heâd like to be known. But to sleep next to him would require removing his binder.
Perhaps he senses Kremâs apprehension, because the Chief claps him on the back. âCome on, Krem Puff, itâs not like we havenât slept together before.â
Krem wracks his brain for that memory. If heâd screwed the Chief, he would remember it, surely. It doesnât seem like the sort of thing that youâd forget. UnlessâŠoh, for goodnessâ sake.
âWe havenât slept together,â he argues. He pulls his shirt up and over his head. âYou passed out on me because youâd just taken a flail to the face!â
The Chief laughs, in the way that indicates heâs come up with a particularly terrible joke. âYeah, you could say theyâŠthey landed a bullseye.â
Well, at least thatâs not an original one, though it is, evidently, a knee-slapper â Bull lands a particularly loud one on his good knee as he rocks with mirth on his bedroll.
âYou said that at the time, too,â Krem replies, with a smirk.
âOh. Shit,â Bull says, obviously disappointed. âIâm still missing some chunks from that day.â
Well, Krem has removed everything else, even his breeches. He braces himself, and starts to unlace the binder.
A loud snore startles him so badly his head grazes the canvas roof. The relief in the aftermath is twofold: he doesnât have to undress in front of the Chief, and he isnât about to be mauled by a bear. He finishes undressing, and crawls into his own bedroll, set as always on the Iron Bullâs blind side.
Heâll later put it down to the relief that he overlooked an obvious detail.
The Iron Bull doesnât snore.

âLove isnât enough. She loved you, but not you. She thought the becoming was suffering. You became better, but she couldnât see that.â
Krem jumped as Cole appeared beside him in the sparring ring. âMakerâs tits, Cole.â
âYour hurt is stronger today. Why?â Coleâs haunting blue eyes brought all of the feelings heâd been trying to avoid closer to the surface.
Krem looked away. âItâs not important.â
âGot up early to make a cake, put on my best dress so she can pretend Iâm still her little girl. Happy Birthday, mom!â
Krem suddenly felt 12 years old again, remembering that particular day, not long after he had told his parents he didnât feel like a girl. His mother sat quietly while his father nodded. âWhy would you hurt yourself like this? Did we hurt you somehow, did we do something wrong?â
âHope turned to shame. It still slips in where the armor doesnât sit right, but it isnât wrong. You arenât wrong.â
âCole-â
The strange man reached out and took Kremâs hand in his. âYou arenât wrong. Youâre you.â Cole hesitated for a moment. âYouâre handsome, made beautiful because of your strength.â
Krem saw Coleâs pale face blush and smiled. âThanks.â He pulled him into a hug. âYou know, you arenât wrong, either.â
Coleâs breath blew across Kremâs ear. âIâm me and youâre you.â Before Krem could say anything, he felt a kiss on his cheek and then Cole vanished. He touched his face where Coleâs lips had touched and smiled.
âIâm me and youâre you.â

KremWeek2024, Day 1âAnniversary
Yesterday was the one-year anniversary of the Chargers having become part of the Inquisition, and Krem had missed it entirely. Not that it really mattered⊠it wasnât as if theyâd be celebrating or anything, it was just strange to be part of a single group for a whole year. Heâd felt a little off all day yesterday but had never been able to place why; it was only waking up today that it all clicked into place.
One whole year.
The last time heâd been part of an organization for this long was the army. Itâd been alrightâhe got along decently with those he fought beside, and there were aspects of it heâd enjoyed. The structure, the predictability. But heâd spent the whole time in hiding, secreting away a part of himself. When it all came to light heâd run because what else could he do? Face off against the entire Imperium and demand his position in the army? No. There was no chance heâd have won that fight.
Heâd been on his own for a bit before meeting The Iron Bull. How many years had it been since that? For all the shit Krem gave him, Bull was pretty amazing. Ridiculous, but amazing. Losing an eye taking a blow meant for him? Meant for a stranger? Who else would do that?
The Inquisition was pretty amazing, too. A little intimidating, even from the inside, and sometimes he wondered how scary they must look from the outside. But still, it was work he was proud to be doing, even though Bull gave him a hard time about all the demons.
To be fair, there have been a lot of demons.
So many demons.
Yeah... maybe best not to mention it to Bull after all. A year of demons. Still, he was glad to be here, and as he got ready for the day he found himself wondering how much longer the Chargers would be part of the Inquisition. Or rather, how much longer the Inquisition would be around. Unlike the army, this was a group he'd miss being a part of.

Krem week day 2 â Euphoria / Expression
I wanted to capture the euphoria he might have experienced while secretly serving in the Tevinter army. Simultaneously, this could represent the true freedom of expression he may have felt among The Chargers for the first time.
This dialogue between Bull and Cole also comes to mind:
Cole: You and Krem say words that hurt, but they aren't real, The Iron Bull.
Iron Bull: Yes. We give each other grief. It's a soldier thing. Doesn't mean anything.
Cole: It means friendship. And that you're soldiers. Krem likes it, it makes him proud.
