Kpaw 2015: Day 07
→ Kai + what you will remember him the most for
I can't belive it's the last day already! What a week guys! I wish I could have participate more but that's okay. I loved to see & read what everyone posted and commented everyday. And I loved the week was in tune with that video of Chris' workout that killed us all, lol.
The edit was really quick, & more of an illustration for what I wanted to say:
I will remember Kai for everything he was: the depth of his charater, his goals, his sass, his smarts, and cunning ways, his weirdness, and strange compliments and outdated jokes, his relationship/dynamic with Bonnie, his smarts, his resourcefulness, his outfits his charm..his origins (the way he wasn’t born what he was supposed to be, the rejection of him by his familly)
the uniqueness of his character: I mean a murderer/sociopath/siphoner/coven leader/witchpire you don't see that everyday!
(also pardon my french but) HE WAS AN FUCKING AMAZING WIZARD
(That even if he wasn’t fully a witch until the end of the season)
and he'll always be one of my very favorite ones. (I love witches by the way, lol)
There is so more things that I will remember for! And probably will regret what I didn't said now.
I love him, and I realised how much when I saw how it was so difficult -for me and everyone- to actually chose one thing only for every themes of the week, you just want to pick it all! See how flawless this character is.
I will remember his character because -and that's a big thing- he actually made me enjoy watching TVD again. That was a short lived thing, but god it was amazing. I literaly had stopped watching TVD (I think I missed two seasons) because I grew tired of the plot-twists, and the on-going deception it was (the last one being Klaroline and because Klaus left TVD).
But at some point my best friend told me I should watch season 6 because Damon and dear Bonnie weren't really dead, so after some procrastination, in the summer I had a season 6 marathon with my sister, and we COULDN'T STOP WATCHING. The prison world came, and Kai, and then the potential full gemini plot and things just grew more and more interesting!
I'll remember him because I could both enjoy meeting a new character while he was linked to my all time favorite character on the show: Bonnie Bennett. Which lead me to say, I'll remember him because for the first time one the show there was one character that I could feel was egal and worthy of Bonnie Bennett, even with the mind games, he was genuine to here cared enough for her to appologies for the things he did and nearly died to save her life. Ultimatly he snapped because she left her behind. Both would have grow for eachother, along with having an epic witchy-woo plotline.
I will also remember him because he was portrayed amazingly by Chris Wood. This actor blew my mind! I already known him a bit from The Carrie Diaries where he played Weaver, but it's when he played Kai that I could really witness the amount of talent this young man have. I'm sincere when I'm saying that in only a few month he became one of my favorite actors, I can't wait to see what he is going to do next and I'm sure it's going to be amazing and exciting to watch.
Also I'll remember Kai because it because it made my meet the awesome Bonkamily and amazing, interesting, creative, funny people.
and I'll remember Kai because he's an ongoing muse for my imagination.
I'm sorry I didn't quite explained the whys, and I'm sorry for my quick words/frenglish, i'm kind of exicted and sad while I'm writing this.
