M e: In Taishiro/KouTai fandom we don't say {just, anyway} "I love you", we say things like "{Taichi-san}! I've watched you {implied as: /stood by your side} for all these years, isn't that r IGHT?!??!!" and I think that's way more beautiful and fulfilling a storyline for them than endless debates, from other fans or otherwise, on if Taichi and Koushiro ""are even"" "friends"
Taichi: Koushiro.... (*swallowing thickly, the heat rising as Taichi casually touches at the back of Taichi's neck*) M e: This writing shit is easy
{Digimon Adventure/02} A.M.V. āLove Me Tenderā {Part 2} (Partially Complete) Featuring: Koushiro{u} Izumi, Mrs. Izumi & Mr. Masami Izumi {as Platonic/Familial Love/Gen} (+Masami x Mrs. Izumi as Ship/Canon Relationship); Koushiro x Taichi {as centered Ship} Song: āLove Me Tenderā (Cover) of song by Elvis Presley from āKyou Kara Maou!ā anime, covered officially by Morikawa Toshiyuki This AMV is a WIP {Work-In-Progress}. Additional scenes may be added even here in future. Please check back to see if future parts get completed! The aim is to eventually complete the near-entire song. This is a short AMV edit but this specific part introduces a bit more of Tentomon and then, finally, Taichi. {& Yes, I am very Aware this song is describing Love. That May be The Point*-} :) * In the Kyou Kara Maou novels version of series, Conrad (voiced by Morikawa Toshiyuki) sings this to Baby!Yuuri to calm him down during a life-threatening situation; because Conrad didnāt know English well {āat allā}, Conrad doesnāt initially understand the full contexts, but maybe various meaningsĀ gets through to Baby!Yuuri anyway. *Note: The embed may break/not display at random. "What we are" (Taichi/Koushirou Valentine's Day fic)
Short Fic Summary: Taichi has been working at Koushirou's company for several months now, but ever since the "Christmas Eve incident", things between him and Koushirou have been rather weird. An unexpected Valentine's Day gift gives him the glimpse of hope that their bond may be able to change after all...
(The "Christmas Eve incident" fic should have gotten posted before this one, but alas... I couldn't have finished it in time. Whoops. It'll be finished with a bit of a delay, promise! Until then - Happy Valentine's Day! š§”š)
Part of the "Coworkers Sequel": [My best friend is finally getting therapy and part of his healing process is becoming my employee] [Different]

Five favourite Taikou moments in Digimon without looking anything up, go.
Oooooooooh, THAT IS HARD THOUGH. I have at least, like... Ten or so, so if I just go from the top of my head... All media is allowed though, right?
Our War Game as a whole. And no, I'm not just saying that because the Taishirou-fied OWG version will forever live rent-free in my head. The whole movie is a small love letter to their overall dynamic - even if they didn't have the same writers, it shows how well they function together DESPITE the differences and friction. Koushirou running over to Taichi IMMEDIATELY once the world is at stake, indirectly forcing him to face his behaviour towards Sora, them making up after fighting, working together to prevent Tokyo from getting blown up... It's chef's kiss.
"Koushirou, I want you to choose." (Adventure) This might actually be the set-up for number 1, if you think about it. I still wish it had been as elaborate and sweet as the novel version ("No, dummy, I'm the one who will choose. But I can't ignore your intelligence in what could be our last moment."), but it's still a wonderful display of their mutual trust in each other. First you have Koushirou say "I've always believed in Taichi-san", then you have Taichi entrusting him to solve the card riddle, knowing that he is the best one to do so. Basically, as Taichi is ackowledged as the leader of the group, Koushirou is immediately acknowledged as the strategist - and the scene would only have been topped if THIS had been Koushirou's Crest activation episode.
"I felt like you finally opened up your heart to me." (Adventure novels) You may notice a pattern here, because this is basically the emotional follow-up to number 2. The anime version is obviously a lot more grim in the way they keep clashing with each other due to Taichi prioritizing Hikari's health while Koushirou prioritizes Taichi's, culminating in Taichi ordering Koushirou to protect Hikari while he is perfectly willing to sacrifice himself... Only for Koushirou to be completely fed up and scream "Why won't you ever let me fight too?!" The novel version actually answers it for him... Leaving him horrified at the idea of having shouted at Taichi, who in return, answers in such a soft and reassuring way ("It's okay. In fact, it made me happy.") and thus validates Koushirou's entire arc. "If reconciling with his parents helped him to open up to other people, it made Koushirou happier with himself too. Taichi accepting his brazenness with a smile deepened his adoration for him even more."
One braincell carsquad (02). 02!Taikou/Taishirou will always have a special place in my heart, because they just hit differently and while I wholeheartedly enjoy Koushirou scolding his husband (which, again, if you think about it, is the logical consequence of number 3), I also absolutely love how in sync they can be in humour and general wavelength. I maintain that they're the literal dads of the 02 kids, who wouldn't have gotten their digivices if it hadn't been for them - but nothing beats them giggling and joking around like absolute dorks at the back of a car, all comfortably and in peace.
The stageplay as a whole. I know, I know, I will never shut up about it, but it's just one of my favourite continuations of their bond. They're constantly seeking physical touch (Taichi slapped Koushirou's butt ffs), are basically co-leaders on the trip (and in terms of plot), there is basically an emotional follow up to number 3 with Koushirou questioning why Taichi cannot open up to him after all these years of having been by his side... And them reconciling is so subtle, sweet and delicate ("Are you sure you'll be alright on your own?" - "I'm not on my own.") that it makes my heart swell.

J.P.N fanbase: And here we have a 200+ pages timeloop!TaiKou anthology! Me, Lying Down:
So I had written Taishirou angst for one of my own AUs in 2021/2022 already...
... And it'd basically how I would like Byler to end up in the last episode of STS5. Kthxbye.
