She had a horrifying transporter accident that she only barely survived that literally cost her an arm and a leg and required her spine to be mended in three places. Recovery has been a process, but she's adjusting.
her cat Floh, whom she inherited from the late Captain Johann Schmidt, is helping.
(The replaced shin bone is a result of a little mistake in season 1 episode 5 where Kotova's actress rubbed her right leg instead of the left one while complaining about the pain. So it was established her "good leg" also had surgery done to explain this away.)
So I'm in a Star Trek Adventure game now. Had one session so far. Pretty fun! Don't worry about the mismatched uniforms. Captain sh'Azonan is a bit eccentric.

It's in the first book in the Aerial Ethereal series featured here, Amour Amour, and it's also in the second book in this series of standalones, Infini---which releases today! *tosses skittles and confetti* I finished reading Infini last night (full review to come soon) and WOW WOW WOW, it was so emotional and so mesmerizing. Krista and Becca Ritchie wrote a gorgeous story of lost love, forever friendship, and the kind of bonds that are infinite. Highly, highly recommended read! ♡Q: Anyone notice that the edges of those pages are gold? I wish the camera would've shown the color better. It's an old copy of Pride and Prejudice that is absolutely beautiful! It's a red hardcover, engraved with swirling gold edges and designs. I seen it in an used bookstore and had to have it for its looks alone. Yes, I know.
