APPEARANCE NOTES: during typical workdays he wears very casual clothes and needs to be reminded to wear smart clothes to the meetings with the King of Goltorm, Oddbjorn. despite his malnourishment as a child is still quite tall but has trouble putting on muscle mass.

BACKGROUND: he has never met his birth-mother, growing up with his father and his family. he was neglected by his family, as he was born from a one-night stand while his father was married. most of his childhood was spent in a small storage room. his education was gained through reading his sister’s old notebooks and he never befriended anyone outside of his house.

while in his childhood, his sister used to be more kind to him than his parents but throughout the years she grew distant and cold from the influence of her parents. during his teen years, the unstable marriage of his parents fell apart, and his step-mother moved away with his sister. this caused his father to become even more hateful towards Kosto, worsening his living conditions and psychological health.

in a desperate attempt to have a better life, Kosto decided to attempt to run away. he was caught and attacked by his father, and in self-defence he stabbed his father before running away into the forest near the village. after almost freezing to death in a pile of snow he is found by a troop of soldiers travelling to a base closer to the war-zone. due to his sheltered life, he was never officially registered, and the military give him up to a local monastery to raise him.

during this period of life, Kosto learns how to socialise, make food, bathe himself, and many other things he should have already known as a 14-year-old. during this time he becomes deeply religious, haunted by the thought that he killed his own father. he decides to become a priest but midway through the process the war efforts increase and he is drafted to the frontlines.

here he builds his confidence, leadership, communication and over the span of multiple decades has become the lieutenant general. he has many connections across the military and politics, and with the war easing-up he decides to retire from the military and to run as the mayor of Solhein’s capital.

even though he was a rookie in politics, the previous running mayor was very corrupt, and Kosto’s ideas for change and promise of security against any possible wartime attacks won him the election. he managed to serve as the mayor for almost 2 decades before, through his close friendship with Ogamot and his friends from both of his careers, he gained the courage to run for the role of PM after the previous PM stepped down. his main policy is to stop the war between Solhein and Kaltor that has been happening for the past 300 years.

one of the major roles as PM is having monthly meetings with the King of Goltorm; which has caused a friendship to bloom between the two and they often visit each other purely for fun, and make sure to catch up with each other whenever attending the same events.

in his free time he reads religious theory, writes poetry and paints. due to his poor health as a child and time in the military, he makes sure to exercise often as his body is growing weaker than it should at his age.
