This is my new reference sheet.

I got it as a commission for 700 Gold coins/70 dollars.

Fun fact, the posing striking the picture is meant to reference the sprite from the original Mario game on the Kopai Entertainment system.

Also the gray hair Mario had was based on a miscommunication I had said. He does have gray hair, it's just that it's a splotch at the roots under the hat. Not at the Tufts.

I'm still learning platforming from Mario though.

I have to use technology and items rather than power-ups due to my biological nature.

And communication I think is going to be a very powerful tool I'll have going forward.

Today was the first time I've ever been back on Earth. Granted I wasn't outside barring the moment I was on the roof.

There was here for a very special reason.

Miyamoto: Garth. what are you doing here.

I have to help Shigeru Miyamoto speak out on something.

Kopai is a very important figure in this whole warp situation.

For decades. they've been the main viewpoint into the world of panko.

Heck. Kopai had been selling Hanafuda cards to Panko before Elizabeth was SUPER. She probably sold Hanafuda cards in her shop.

Anyways.

Miyamoto seemed reluctant. He insisted that we should deal with other "necessities" before we announce anything.

He pressed a button on his desk. The desk and the platform surrounding it lowered.

There was apparently an underground network of tunnels leading through Kyoto. All of which led to Kopai related buildings.

Turn off a production line.

Make sure the Amiibos had NFC chips.

Help a Kid try and find the missing Pokemon folder card sleeves.

Make sure the Giant ROB the robot for a Nintendo advertisement,

Make sure that Charles Martinet's and the rest of Nintendos employee's job security was still stable/

All of these got me a warp. Except for number 3.

I got store credit for a Pokemon store that sells dakis (body pillows).

After the whole debacle.

I was about to go on stage with Miyamoto.

He seemed really reluctant.

Just as we were about to go on stage.

Something turned on the Giant Rob the robot.

Miyamoto was adamant that I fought it and that we couldn't go on yet.

I managed to defeat it.

Garth: Okay Miyamoto. we can g... What are you doing?

Miyamoto was trying to turn it on again.

I tried confronting him on this but then he picked up an ultra hand and threatened to steal my clutch.

Miyamoto: Be very careful Garth. If you know what's good for you we won't go out and give the speech.

Garth: Dude. what is your deal. You've given plenty of speeches in the past. Kopai directs, Space world, Tech expos.

Miyamoto: Can't you see! This isn't about the speech! This is about confrontation!

Garth. Huh.

As it turned out.

Miyamotos real fear had to do with doing something wrong and being confronted.

I think he doesn't just regret helping keep panko a secret, but maybe some other things as well

Garth: look we have to confront things sometimes. Something tells me this isn't just about panko.

Miyamoto: sigh. Maybe your right.

Garth: Look. admitting you're wrong is the first step. We can try and fix the situation later. Right now you have to give a speech. Otherwise there might be no where to give a speech.

Miyamoto: I suppose you're right. Let's go out there and get this over with.

Garth: Yeah. We can deal with all the other crud later.

Miyamoto and I went out and admitted to the world Panko existed.

Granted it's only a small portion of the world. But we will work our way up to the rest of Earth.

E Gadd called me into his lab today to give me an experimental device..

It is called a clutch and it looks like this

It's a device that utilizes Warp Energy to transport objects, creates a defense using one's own clothes, senses how much fuel a tool one has, and even has an app for utilization.

And that is great because E Gadd's original idea was to mod my Kopai switch so it could be adapted to it. But that would require breaking the console and nullifying it's ability to play video games.

It was not until I suggested the thing about making it phone compatible by making it an app that he did not think of that.

After a little bit of modification, he had the app up and running (for me only due to the devices prototype status).

So now. I have this device that basically acts as a device that makes my life more similar to a video game then it already.

And it's frickin awesome.

Hi. My name is Garth. I have started this blog to chronologicalize my stories in the Mushroom Kingdom as the apprentice of Super Mario Jupmin (not Jumpman, that was his father's nickname.)

Why does Mario need an apprentice? It is because he needs the pass on the title of SUPER to a new generation.

I guess I should also tell you about myself considering I'll be protecting The citizens of the Mushroom Kingdom. My full name is Garth, a human. I was born on planet Earth. I really enjoy things like Mario Brothers Video Games (you know the ones that Mario and Luigi sold their likenesses to that company Kopai). I am also very well versed in The lore of the SUPER'S and Mushroom Kingdom, I even had a job as a tour guide at the Mushroom Kingdom museum of History. I learned it from a young age playing video games on my SKES (Super Kopai Entertainment System)

I was brought here after a freak experiment happened involving experimentation on warp pipe technology. When dropping a tennis ball in a nearby empty lot using the warp technology, E Gadd (who was spearheading the operation) accidentally brought me and My room from Earth to the Mushroom Kingdom.

After a year of living and working on a museum, Tutanga had launched an invasion on the Mushroom Kingdom and caused a massive panic. At one point during the invasion, Mario was caught in the museum. He almost looks like he was done for as Tutanga was about to blast him with the laser, I (who was hiding in the cafe, per invasion protocol) realizing that Mario needed help, ran and ended up picking up the Bush that has Super Ball-Berries we have the museum, and started throwing them at Tatanga.I'm not sure when entirely happened, but I think I hit a button that caused retreat on a ship because he flew away immediately, I also saw that he had a very annoyed look on his face.

Later that night after all the commotion, I had been invited to the castle. Apparently they were actually just going to give me a medal at first for my bravery. But after they brought in a couple slices of pepperoni cheesecake, I need of starting talking about the Lore and origins of their world and Mario's games/adventures.

I at that moment, I was offered to become Mario's apprentice.

Now I'm spending my days as the person who will become SUPER of the Mushroom Kingdom. But until then, I'm fine being Garth, the apprentice of Mario.

I don't have training today.

Mario had to deal with a Mole (not part of the Monty family though) who managed to weaponize a warp whistle.

Probably making tornado and typhoons and what not.

I don't really feel like doing anything else today, I'm just going to write out some random thoughts I thought of.

How does everyone know English. You think everyone would speak a different language because of the fact the planet is different?

They also use the same calendar. It was like 201X and and now it's 201X. I've been here for almost 2 years and I'm 13, my birthday is 10/5 (October 5th). It doesn't seem like more or less time has passed.

On occasion I can be able to find some news about how the world has changed on Earth so there's that. I know that the president got impeached. So there is that. I rather have the guy who hosts Diners Drive-Ins and dives be the president then some bigot.

How long ago were the warp pipes invented?

How are mom and dad doing, I hope they got my letter.

I think Kopai kind of has arbitrary rules, like not allowing certain characters to be in video games or using a cease and desist on any fan game.

I watched some of that documentary based on Marvin and Jeffy and Rose. It was a kind of a mixed bag. Kind of interesting they chose puppetry for reenactments.

I think Mario is going to fight some guy in the coming months, Lou or Duke was their name, but they call themselves SMG4. Apparently it's called "War Of The Fat Italians" maybe it's like It's eating contest or something.

So that's some of my thoughts.

Samoa very nearly beat England in another very exciting game at the weekend. Had they not gotten a yellow card, I believe they would have (could have, should have...) I am thus celebrating Manu Samoa today with a deliciously comforting recipe: Kopai! These fluffy dumplings, simmered in a coconut caramel sauce is wonderfully indulgent and might become a favourite rainy or chilly day treat of mine!

Ingredients (makes a dozen):

1 litre/4 cups water

1 cup plain flour

1 teaspoon baking powder

1 tablespoon caster sugar

1/4 cold water

1/3 cup demerara sugar

1/2 tablespoon cornflour (cornstarch)

1 cup coconut milk

Pour water into a large saucepan, and bring to the boil over medium-high heat.

In a medium bowl, combine flour, baking powder and sugar. Give a good stir until well-mixed. Then, gradually stir in water, with a wooden spoon, until mixture comes together into a soft dough (you may not need all of the water.)

Knead the dough lightly, and divide into twelve equal portions.

Roll dough portions into smooth balls.

Once the water is boiling, spoon in dough balls. They will drop to the bottom of the saucepan, and then pop back on the surface once cooked. Reduce heat to medium, and simmer, about 10 minutes, turning the dumplings so they cook evenly.

Sprinkle demerara sugar in an even layer, at the bottom of a large saucepan. Heat over a medium flame until the sugar melts into a smooth, brown caramel.

Spoon cornflour into a small bowl. Whisk in 1/4 cup of the dumplings' cooking water until well-blended. Set aside.

Carefully stir another 1/4 cup of the cooking water into the caramel. Then, add coconut milk. Bring to a slow boil. Finally, stir in cornstarch mixture, and cook, a few minutes until caramel sauce slightly thickens.

With a slotted spoon, remove dumplings from their cooking water and drop them into the coconut caramel sauce.

Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer, stirring often to coat evenly, about 25 to 30 minutes.

Serve Kopai warm.
