Shiron is a doctor from Ishabana. The noble doctor fell in love with Karras and moved to Gokkan for her.

Rita is not related to Karras or Shiron, but they look just like a family. (it fits with what's presented in-show but you could say the wording is referring to the actors instead)

Gokkan, with poor reception, has only noise-filled picture quality, and a falling-behind release schedule, so Rita had to avoid Himeno's spoilers with a scream in episode 11.

リタの隻眼

隻眼 means eye, singular. This sparked discussions that Rita is blind in the right eye or the blue eye is a prosthetic. (Or could it just be a typo?)

Although Himeno and Rita don't get along well usually, since they share a similar past, they can understand each other's pain. After today, maybe a bond is forming between the two, for a little?
