i kinda wish the skdy anime wouldve gotten an insanely high budget w a shit ton of freedom when animating bc man something like the spiderverse style but in animated form could’ve went so hard and just gone so well with it (kind of exactly like the opening basically). I’m lowkey still wishing for trigger to somehow get the rights to sakaholi i think that’d be fun to see as well

:re that rb abt not enforcing het romantic relationships in media, as much as i personally ship uzurion i actually rlly like it that suzuki never outright implied or confirmed it and that u can read it as just her changing his life by being the first real friend outside of the orphanage. I think atari saying that shins her soulmate also left a bed taste in my mouth bc prior to that every female character introduced was just chilling w the others and atari was basically put into the damsel in distress/romantic interest position. Akira and toramaru also never got pushed into anything and im grateful for that 🙏 Really happy he pivoted away from that but him being just her lucky item for the day would have sufficed. Im also rlly happy she basically got to break out herself for the first part until her power ran out i still think she shouldve used her misfortune for herself too.
