He had no photographs of Bucky. If it hadnāt been for the official ones heād found in the SSR files, he might have thought that heād never even existed at all. Heād had nothing of Buckyās at all when he died. Luckily, Steve didnāt need to look at a photograph to remember that face. He drew it from memory. The crinkles around Buckyās eyes when he smiled. The curve of his lips. His dimples.
When he had finished it, he laid the sketch next to him, face-up so that Bucky could see the stars.
