@wargodknox
For someone who spends most of her time here, she hates the hospital. She hasn’t been here long and she knows it’ll be a bit before they let her go home. At least a week the surgeon had told her, maybe two. She misses her house, misses her bed -- her dog. Mostly she just misses privacy. Between Andy and Alaric she rarely has a moment to herself and as much as she adores the two of them, she just needs a second to breathe. Which is how she finally finds herself alone -- Alaric down the hall visiting another casualty of what had happened, and Andy having stepped out just for a minute. She won’t have long, but it’s enough -- or at least, that’s what she thinks. Until the door to her room opens and Owen Knox of all people walks in -- now she wishes the moment was over and one or both Thane brothers would show up now. The beep of her heart monitor speeds up, giving away the affect he has on her. She’d rip it out if that wouldn’t be so damn obvious. She stares at him for a second, trying to will time to hurry up so this can just be over.
“What are you doing here?”
