Goodberrywine is a rich, sweet wine fermented from magically enhanced goodberries. The color and wine qualities (dry, sweet, sour, etc) depend on type of berr(ies) used as a base. The secret fermentation process (using ashwood barrels) locks the magical effects into the wine permanently. Drinking a glass, which typically costs about 16 gold pieces, provides the same magical effects as eating a goodberry.

The Merita is a very fine inn in Skyshroud's Sebastian district, catering to wealthy noble travelers. Their gimmick is that they also offers rooms at a steep discount to people with a reputation for very interesting (such as minstrels and adventurers): as cocktail-chatter counterparts, as connections for business, as potential romantic partners. It’s a strategy to convince wealthier, duller noble clientele to pay a premium in order to share some sparkling conversation, or in the hopes that they will be able to pass for one of the glintelligentsia themselves.

Knowledge (local) or Assassin Level Check DC12: This metamagical technique is favored for urban combat and by assassins, for its ability to deceive witnesses and guards.

Knowledge (local) or Craft (tailoring) DC10: A chaperon is a type of sturdy, comfortable hood with a long tail called a lirripipe, popular among humans. They are often weatherproofed, and highly adjustable: the lirripipe can be wrapped around the top to secure the hood against the wind, and the front edge of the hood can be rolled back for better peripheral vision or out for protection from precipitation. The hood can also be rolled tightly to be worn as a hat, with the lirripipe tucked as a chinstrap. A typical chaperon costs about 1gp, though simpler ones can be as cheap as 1sp, and very fine ones can cost as much as 50 or even 100gp. Longer lirripipes typically raise the price, and are often displayed as a sign of prosperity. This is common knowledge and can be rolled untrained.

The Sludge is thick, black, goopy liquer, said to be made from "black pudding" oozes. Intensely strong and viscous, each shot of it affects the imbiber as much as 4 normal drinks. A shot typically costs about 8 gold pieces, making it relatively cheap for it strength among speciality spirits.

Stallion is an especially strong and sweet kumis (spirits fermented from mare's milk, which produces potent fermentation thanks to its high sugar content) from the Kingdom of Orion. Distilled using secret family techniques, each shot affects the imbiber as much as 3 normal drinks, but temporarily enhances their strength and dexterity. A shot typically costs about 20 gold pieces.

The Eagle orc clan of the Kailen Cliffs in the Northern Wastes raise and train giant mountain eagles to ride as mounts, making them fierce enemies.
