This is a story a radio station in my town covered, at least read the bolded part:
"A Nebraska man has been sentenced to five years of probation for his role in a plot to shoot a Monona County man. 20 year old Joseph Roberts of Omaha pled guilty to the charge and was given a suspended five year prison term in addition to his probation Monday in Monona County District Court. The Sioux City Journal reports 32 year old Darren Hieber of Mapleton hired Robers and 19 year old Timothy Culley to shoot him in Mapleton on March 8th. Local officials say this was the second time Hieber hired someone to shoot him in an attempt to gain sympathy from his ex-wife. Hieber schemed the same plan on February 5th of this year in which Brady Chapman pled guilty in that case and was sentenced to two years of probation. Culley was sentenced to five years of probation and Hiber’s trial is set for July 31st in Monona County."
