EAT WITH THE KNOCKER!!!! 🍞

once again, you find yourself circling the kitchen. Open the fridge, see nothing, sigh, Open the cupboard, see nothing, sigh again. And, as always you feel a presence, itself probably just him again.

over time the knocker has warmed up quite a bit to you. he knocks a lot less. he just invites himself in. (whether through the door, a window, or just materializing behind you.)

This time, you hear the familiar fwiosh sound, you turn to face the Knocker himself,

" what are you doing?" He asks, tilting his head down at you.

" im hungry." you reply, his eyes squint a small bit as if he was thinking.

Actually, seeing him reminded you bread exists. Making you turn back around to open the fridge, (because you're weird and keep it in there) and grab a loaf of bread that you somehow never noticed. The knocker shuffles his boots, pupils dilating—of course, he was expecting some too. You set the loaf down on the counter and the other being follows right behind you, practically begging (like a dog) for a piece.

"just wait a moment, im gonna toast it." you state dropping a few slices into the toaster. He watches from over your shoulder, he was hugging onto your back.

The Knocker grumbles at this. But continues being surprisingly patient.

Pop!

" can i have that now?" he asks, (politely wow) and you lift the piece to him. He instantly snatched it up.

You then prepare yourself a slice, spreading butter onto it. The knocker sees this, and pauses on his munching.

" Let me try that."

You sigh, taking the half heaten toast from his grasp and scraping butter on it too. That seemed to please him enough.
