I think I naively thought I could just logic my way out of it (she was old, she'd lived a good and happy life and we were ending it now so that she wouldn't have to go out of it suffering, I am even lucky enough to still have two wonderful dogs in my family). Never too late! >:D Thatās the very first thing I ever wrote for BNHA and I put enough into the outline and writing of it (itās like... 4k words atm and maybe half done) that Iām dedicated to getting around to finishing it eventually.
The basic plot summary is, āItās year two at UA, Bakugou and Midoriya have largely worked through a lot of their issues, and Midoriya realizes he likesĀ Bakugou. He gets super awkward and avoidant about this, Bakugou takes it the wrong way because from his perspective Midoriya is suddenly back to acting like a bullying victim, and through the interventions of Uraraka, Todoroki, and Kirishima, they eventually get their shit together enough to talk about it.ā Then I mash their heads together like Barbie dolls and they kiss.
Honestly, main reason Iām sleeping on it is because while I used to RP a lot of romance... I donāt really feel inclined to write a ton of it in fanfic! Iām not thirsty enough to be good at writing thirsty teenage boys, klxjcgh.
Also, my idea of romance apparently includes Bakugou accidentally breaking Midoriyaās nose, and Midoriya sneezing blood at Bakugoās face. So. Thereās that.

8 for the fanfic writers ask, three things you're most proud of when it comes to your writing?
Ooo, hm.
One thing that Iām proud of and that I get a decent amount of comments on is my style of blending humor and serious moments. I think Kit kats is probably the best example of this, but I do try to keep most of my stories from being straight angst fests, and I think Iām able to hit the balance between ripping peopleās hearts out and making them giggle pretty well.
Iām also proud of how I have a decent range of writing styles under my belt. I can do short stories/long stories/very grounded in reality pieces and more poetic pieces all without too much trouble, and I have a lot of fun working with these different styles and blending them together to get what I want.
Lastly, Iām proud of how I can get readers to suspend disbelief/accept a new characterization. A lot of my characterization tends to stray away from canon some (if not all of) the time, but I get a lot of compliments about how everything still feels plausible for the characters. Thatās something thatās taken work to figure out how to do, and so Iām proud of that!

1) is it basic of me to put baku here? perhaps. perhaps. but consider this: our boye is Complex. he has so many fucking thoughts. every time i write from his pov i literally canāt shut up. if i have to read the rest of this gd manga without ever hearing one (1) canonical opinion from him i will. riot. also is Very touch-starved and we all know how easy it is for me to project onto that babey !!
2) christ this is hard. but u know what iām gonna pour one out for mr. handman here in the #2 spot. 10/10 gremlin hair. 10/10 gremlin personality. 10/10 quirk please disintegrate me i will do anything for u. also literally the MOST touch-starved person on this show, so.Ā
3) aizawa was probably the first character i loved on this show so i have to put him at least halfway up this list. his presence is just such a fucking delight, heās funny and caring and touch-starved uh oh and has a deep and rich backstory that i always want more of. his current arc in the manga genuinely made me cry on a public bus, i wish i was kidding. also heās my dad. boogie woogie woogie.
4) i cannot in good conscience put tdrk in last place so heās going in fourth. depending on my mood he is either a Highly Complex Character With Deep and Varied Motivations or like. big stupid. absolutely vacant. incredibly and unequivocally touch starved.Ā anyway please grow ur hair out king iām begging you.Ā
5) rip shinsou, you donāt deserve a last place finish but the competition was fierce. i love u so much, tired slebby gremlin boye who deserves the world. ur hair looks really soft and i hope denki is always running his hands through it bc youāre touch starved and need affection. purple will always be my favorite color.Ā
