My office is all clean, my brain is much tidier, my yarn is all organized and I think that means I'm ready to go! I've been so antsy not being able to work for so long but I'm ready to get back into it with a fresh outlook and clearer goals

“Every scarf of nine feet starts with a single row.” – definitely what Laozi meant to say
No other way to get through a Canadian winter ;) Happy birthday Canada! xoxo
Knitting Update
Knitting has been interesting. Last night I went to bed early so I could turn on the electric blanket and knit. I did four or five rows on my Wood nymph scarf and realized I'd lost some stitches somewhere. I tried and tried to frog back row by row. Finally I decided to rip (frog) the whole thing out. But being mohair, it didn't want to come apart. I ripped out maybe half of it (about 10") and decided to try putting it back on the needles. I thought I had about a 1% chance of that actually working but by some miracle it did.
Earlier this morning I finished re-knitting all the part I'd ripped out plus a few more rows besides. But what was nagging me was knowing that my Pumpkin Kal for the Knit-a-long had to be done by Thanksgiving. So I went to the car to get it out and see if that was even possible, and I couldn't find it. Yes, I've lost my socks! I looked in the house too. Well phooey.
I was going through a small tote bag of projects that I'd found a few days ago, and in that bag I found a crazy netted scarf made on giant needles, so I did four rows on that. It is cherry red and silver metallic yarn so if I can finish it, I can wear it for the holidays as it looks very Christmassy. I still haven't found the pattern or project notes for it but it seems to be 3 rows of red and one row of silver. Then repeat.
I have the patterns, needles and yarn ready for two shawls. One is a shawl done in a square and the other one is a pi shawl. But I want to finish some things before I start those. It is hard not to let knitting take over my whole life.
What's on your needles?
