Dirk briskly makes his way to Dave's door, clutching his wallet in his pocket. He could sense the urgency from the text, and guilt pangs at his chest. It sucks that his very own flesh and blood is struggling like this when he can have the entire world in his hand simply because his brother makes movies for a living. It's sickening how cruel the world can be, honestly.
He raps on the door with his knuckles delicately, but firmly enough to indicate the severity of the situation. He's visibly a little tense, but to the untrained eye, or to someone not paying very close attention, he seems no different than he usually is; albeit there is a tense air around him that wasn't there before.
