I failed to keep this short 😭  I hope you don’t mind! 

7. What do you think are the characteristics of your personal writing style? Would others agree? 

I.... don’t know, to be honest? I honestly didn’t even think I HAD a distinctive writing style until I wrote “A Marriage of Convenience” for the Black Emporium Exchange last year, and apparently most of the people who read it figured out that anonymous fic was me from the opening few paragraphs 😂  I don’t even know what it was that gave me away! Was it the writing style? The bad jokes? The masquerade ball? The scenario of Merrill as the most hapless spy that ever spied in Modern Kirkwall marrying her target’s brother by accident? My use of British English? 

Come to think of it, British English / Britishisms are usually a giveaway that a fic might be by me, so let’s go with that as a characteristic of my writing style 😂

14. At what point in writing do you come up with a title? 

It varies -- sometimes I start with a title and a summary and write the fic, sometimes I come up with a title as I’m writing it. I very rarely finish a fic without already having a title, though. 

20. Tell us the meta about your writing that you really want to ramble to people about (symbolism you’ve included, character or relationship development that you love, hidden references, callbacks or clues for future scenes?) 

I’ve answered this here already! I’m sure there’s a better answer, but I can’t think of it right now. 

25. What part of writing is the most fun? 

THE PART WHERE I’VE ALREADY WRITTEN, LMAO 😂  I think it was Dorothy Parker who once said “I hate writing, I love having written” and it’s not massively far off how I feel about writing 😂  

But on a serious note -- writing jokes or humorous scenarios are the most fun parts of writing for me, probably. I laugh at my own jokes a LOT when I write, I think I’ve stopped being embarrassed about it 😂

Mia gets into TONS of bar fights. Like in DA2 when she’s not out making sure Kirkwall doesnt’ collapse on itself (or making repairs at Fenris’ or Anders’ or Merrill’s place) you can almost always be sure that you’ll find her at the Hanged Man, because Varric is there and when things are too quiet she can throw a glass at someone and start a nice bar fight
