for context i know basically next to nothing about fallout boy, fanfiction, or minecraft youtubers

basically theyre a big fall out boy fan but i dont know a single thing about the band so they were playing some of their music while we were hanging out in the living room. one of the songs that came on was called bishops knife trick and i pointed at the title and i was like ‘oh one of my mutuals wrote a story with that title way before i followed them, ive seen them mention it a few times.’ and my housemate was like ‘yeah people name their fics after songs a lot’

and then i said ‘iirc it was about their original characters but it used to be about minecraft youtubers i think’ & then my housemate FREAKED OUT and was like ‘NO WAY. IVE READ THAT. ARE YOU FOR REAL’

hey anon thank you so much for asking! sorry it took me so long to get back to you… i wanted to give you a good reference, and i was really out of practice drawing these two.

i’ve workshopped their designs so many times over the years, so i can’t guarantee these are the “best” versions, but, i like them at least! so hopefully this little design revamp is worth it. jackie’s more fiery, and his armor is visible, and ran got more dragony over time, which i think looks really sick.

so, yeah! my 2025 ranjack! hope you like :)
