lithe          frame          dripping          in          carnage          ,          crimson      droplets      adorning      angelic      flesh    .       such      a      pretty      picture        ,        he’d      let      her      know      each      time    .        laugh      low      in      throat      at      question        ,        a      cackle      unsettling      to      more      sane      eardrums        ,        as      he      inched     closer    .       closer        ,         closer        ,        boots      stepping      over      puddles      of      slaughter    .         a      pair      made      only      in      the     nine      circles      of      hell    .       reeking      of      death        ,        destruction    .       two      birds      of      a      bloody      feather    .       ❝          always      am    .          ❞       index      finger      rose        ,        smothered      in     its      own      sanguine      liquid     .         he’d      swipe      digit      over      her      splattered      cheek      before      bringing      it      towards      his      painted      lips   .        tongue      slowly      extending      to      lick      away      the      metallic      residue    .        ❝          yummy   .          ❞

               once he’s comfortably seated hotch settles a file on the table in front of him. he checks his watch, sets down the tape recorder he’d retrieved from his inner coat pocket and turns it on, all before finally looking up at the woman RESTRAINED on the other side of the table.  ❝i’m special supervisory agent hotchner with the behavioral analysis unit of the FBI. i’m here to conduct an interview with you that will be entered into our ViCAP program.❞  careful eyes scrutinize for any reactions to his words or demeanor.               ❝to be completely honest MS. WILSON, i’m surprised you agreed to speak with me,❞ hotchner wasn’t employing the most standardized interview technique, but he wanted to address the ELEPHANT in the room and determine her motive. she didn’t have anything to gain, nothing he could offer her. maybe she just wanted to GLOAT or perceived some opportunity for mind games. the mental health facility she’d been transferred to was privately funded and boasted of security to match a SUPERMAX (so far it didn’t seem comparable). the soft restraints and underpaid orderlies did nothing to set aaron at ease.  ❝i’d like to start with how you select and approach your victims.❞
