I knew I stepped into my power when I was capable of saying no and not feeling bad about it later. Being a people pleaser and always wanting to be like there were things, relationships, and jobs that I definitely should have said no to, but I didn't. Once I realized that it was okay for me to have an opinion and voice my concerns without feeling like I had no right to do so, I made a lot of changes. The experiences of 2019 have taught me how to be strong. I am carrying that strength into 2020 and beyond. Now, if my intuition doesn't agree with something it doesn't happen. If I feel weird about a connection, I step away. If something said doesn't sound right and impacts me, my family, or others, I let that person know that it's not right. Stepping into my power has allowed me to be the biggest advocate for myself and others.
