I’ve been thinking lately how the characters’ lives will turn out after salvaging the Earth from getting destroyed. And given the hints of what’s going to happen after that transmission last 2015, then the entire world is aware that ‘hey man, we’re done for’.

It’s a personal thought that since its race against race, kids, teens, and adults alike, operative or not, would join forces to keep the planet from getting destroyed. Given that, I feel that the aftermath with rehabilitation and such after the war would yield an Earth that’s more than aware of the existence of the KND, and having teen operatives wouldn’t be such a huge secret anymore. Possibly even, having adult allies affiliated with the KND would be considered. (If it’s not already since it’s also possible that some adults already are prior to the whole g:KND deal)

The promising operatives that helped saved the planet would be offered to have a spot within the TND, (as what usually already does happen to stellar operatives, with ascending to TND and all) and furthermore, are in consideration for being adult affiliates. Which I like to think, was what happened to Sector V.

Now the question is, what happens to Nigel?

If we go with the route that what we’ve seen in the trailer is a confirmation that yes, he did give a go signal to come blast the Earth into smithereens, then by all means, that’s betraying the Earth. And a betrayal to the KND on Earth at that.

Actions have their consequences, and I doubt Nigel will get out of that easily. While his teammates have moved on to the TND, (I’m supposing all of them did) Nigel is in a tight spot. 

I’ve thought to myself what would happen since all official members of the g:KND are already stunted in age. Does that mean that Nigel gets the process reversed for himself after the war? The likely aftermath is that yes, he does, however there’s a catch. He ages, but at a much slower rate than everyone else. Why is that? Because I doubt that reverse engineering whatever machine it is they used to stunt their ages would be an easy task for the scientists in the KND. In my head cannon, I see it as having a rate of physically aging a year in 4 years. 

Going back to what happens to Nigel, he doesn’t get decommissioned, no. Although he’s betrayed the Earth, his reasons for such were under g:KND orders which he was simply following. Even if this does become null in the end because the g:KND do end up becoming the enemies. 

His situation in terms of the slowed down aging would still make him qualified to remain in the KND since he’d still be 10. But the problem is that, with his betrayal, he can’t just come back, be given a team of his own and everyone would call it a day. In the first place, it’s going to be hard to trust someone that just threw the entire planet into disarray just a little way back. That’d be tricky to come to terms with for his potential new set of squad members and even to the KND itself. What’s possible is that yes, he’s still involved with the KND but instead, works as a separate, special agent. (not a vigilante tho, that’s Tommy’s job. Nigel on the other hand, is officially assigned.) And somewhere along his new job, his fire powers (one he got from his paternal side of the family) starts kicking in and he begins learning how to hone it into its fullest potential.

And who helps him do just that?

Well then, It’d be that guy that’s been training his own abilities for a while now.

Which would be Chad. I like to think that the stupefying ability of his parents is generated through technology from their gloves, but going with the fantasy side that its a genetically passed ability is a much cooler thought (lol). Way back since the transmission, think it’s already obvious that Chad is with Earth’s side and his role as a ‘traitor’ was very much, just something he had to fulfill in line with becoming a double agent back then. Which now earns him some redemption after helping to stop the war. Since he wasn’t an official member of the g:KND, his age was never stunted. As such, he regains his position as a TND operative. Anyway, at this point, Chad and Nigel begin to mend their strained relationship. 

I’d like to think that Chad becomes one of the few adults involved and helping to manage KND so that no sort of thing such as the whole g:KND ordeal would have to happen again. While he does have his personal professional life, he still fulfills a role within the organization. By then, Nigel would have been about 15 and is a well-known special operative that not a lot of people may like due to betraying Earth back then, but still very much, has operatives who look at the other side of things and greatly admire him. Together with Chad, they help to manage the KND.

Now, do I think the end game couples remain as it was revealed in I.N.T.E.R.V.I.E.W.S. ?

Well, tbh im a 1/5 shipper myself so—

Ok tho, but tbh my head cannon end game couples prior to considering the addition of the g:KND in the plot already aren’t in line with what happens in cannon.

However, if there’s one thing that’s a personal thought, then its that Wally and Kuki still very much do get married eventually.

Abby herself, (as much as I want her to end up with Nigel in the case that he does return) marries. (in my personal opinion only ok, possibly to Hoagie, or possibly to someone else mainly because I haven’t explored 2/5 yet and I’d like to look at the dynamics of a ship first before fully going down with it. Though why did I still say possibly she’d marry Hoagie? Well, while I haven’t been immersed in 2/5, I do see for myself how it could potentially expand and work out from a platonic relationship to a romantic one.)

But in general with all I’ve said, then yes, what happens in I.N.T.E.R.V.I.E.W.S. is still followed.

If it wasn’t clear however, here’s a reason why Nigel doesn’t marry. Since he ages physically a year in 4 years, by the time that those of his generation are in their early 30′s or have just hit their 30′s, he’s still a teenager.

Bittersweet route for the main character?

I don’t think so to be honest. In fact, staying as an operative and continuously redeeming yourself while helping to build the entire Earth into being a strong planet that no other race would try to touch is an aftermath with a bright path ahead. 

And you can just hear him say again, “We. are. Kids. Next. Door.” while all of this is happening. 

So we all know that one moment in OP GIRLFRIEND right? Where Rachel tries to cheer up Nigel from his break up getting dumped by Lizzie!*coughs what a loser! coughs*. She tries to cheer him up by inviting him to eat lunch but it fails.

Now most people said that this was a 1x362 moment and I honestly thought that too when I first watched it,but now I don't see it as that. For some reason, I never saw the 1x362 moments specifically this one so i watched every 1x362 'moment' even this one.

And now with the context before this scene,I now know what Rachel was feeling.

To me,this isn't the look of someone who's sad bc they got rejected

This is a look of guilt.

Really think about it, before this Rachel and Nigel had to leave to get Numbuh 65.3. Nigel left Lizzie(which is a pretty dick move) for the mission to stop 65.3 from boarding the plane. Nigel learns Lizzie is kidnapped by the treehouse and tries to get to her.

Rachel tries to stop him from going(even though Nigel literally said Lizzie was in danger) and tells him to get his priorities straight.

He does and goes save Lizzie,but they do break up at the end. Rachel comes to help but finds out Lizzie is safe little me in the past is booing at that as we speak and finds out they break up.

If I was Rachel,I would feel like it's my fault that one of my friends lost the love of their life for something that turned out it was pointless.

Ok think about it…

what if the trial is happening on Nigel’s 13th birthday? Like the earth is now ending on his birthday?

Also possible scenario:

Writer:Sir,he's a kid

Warburton: So? Fuck that,we're gonna make him brainwashed again and it slowly kills him until Sector V rescues him.

Writer:Seriously?! Isn't that a bit much?!

Warburton: Oh we've done worse. Plus if Disney can do this with their kid protagonists,so can we!
