Skye: You are so dead. [beak opens menacingly]

Logan: [soothing tone] Princess, we cannot kill without reason. That would not be proper of us. [attempts to rest wing on SKYE'S shoulder]

Skye: [turns on LOGAN] Do not touch me, dragon. [screeches] Do not pretend to know what you know what is best or so-called proper. Just because you are Lord of the Loch does not make you Lord of this little group we have. I am the Princess of Greif and you cannot tell me what to do. [clacks beak together in anger and rises onto back legs, wings spread to fullest extent]

[VOLK and CHARLIE come strolling over crest of hill. Both pause to stare at the confrontation.]

Charlie: [curious] What's happening, guys?

Volk: [more wary] You two arguing again?

[ZANDUÍN and REMI sit on log by the campfire. REMI'S werecat teeth are bared slightly as she looks at their prisoner, a goat named BILL]

Remi: Skyprincess here thinks that Bill is one of the King's spies, and she wants to kill him.

Henry: [from on top of CHARLIE'S head] Why's that? Did 'e confess to anythin'?

Zanduín: [shakes head] All we know is zat Bill was seen running from zee castle four days ago. Ozzer zan zat, he seems razzer innocent.

Skye: [flaps wings furiously] I saw him with a gryphling. [angrily] It is illegal in all the realms to kidnap a child, so why would he be carrying around a gryphling? That is what I would like to know. He has not answered my question.

Molly: [expression is confused] So, if you're trying to get information from the lad, then why're you tryina kill him?

Zanduín: [calm] Skylark is irrational at zee moment. If everyone can calm down and relax, we can get to zee bottom of zis. [faces his mage] Would zat be okay wiz you, my Mage?

Skye: [reluctantly goes back to all fours and folds wings] Very well. [turns, then launches self into air]

Remi: [glances at ZANDUÍN] How long do we have?

Zanduín: Ten minutes, she will be back. Regroup in ten minutes.

[With a nod, REMI disappears into the forest, shifting into her cat form to hunt.]

[LOGAN leaps into the air and flies in the direction that SKYE flew off in.]

[ZANDUÍN stays by the fire to tend to it when REMI comes back with food.]

[CHARLIE, HENRY, and VOLK head back to the field to play with the leaves.]

[MOLLY joins ZANDUÍN by the fire; she wishes to ask him more questions about the Elven culture.]
