Vikings Settle with Kluwe, to Wed next April

Minneapolis, MN– The Vikings and Chris Kluwe announced Tuesday that the fight between them is over. Both parties have reconciled their differences and have decided to settle down and get married. Wedding arrangements are being prepared for April, 2015.

Kluwe’s attorney Clayton Halunen made the declaration 7 ½ months after first publishing allegations by the former punter of homophobic behavior by the team. Kluwe said, “It really comes down to the question of, ‘Is it about me? Is it about what I want? Will I marry the Vikings? YES is the answer!”

Saying he's learned a "hard lesson," Minnesota Vikings special teams coordinator Mike Priefer apologized on Thursday for the SINGLE AND ONLY homophobic remark he made during the 2012 season, while coach Mike Zimmer and general manager Rick Spielman stood behind the coach AND NO - THIS ISN'T THE ONLY MALE-TO-MALE "STAND BEHIND" IN THIS REPORT the organization decided to discipline instead of fire.

Neither Priefer nor Zimmer would discuss whether the special teams coordinator admitted making the remark before Zimmer decided to keep Priefer on his staff, though both said they did discuss the situation while Zimmer was deciding whether or not to retain Priefer.
