No time for tea...

"No time for tea" original watercolour painting on 9"x12" watercolour paper.

I'm not exactly a tea lover. One sunday afternoon at a dim sum restaurant I was presented with this unusual dish. A teacup in the ambient light. One photo and a couple creative transformations later a fascinating scene emerged. This was the perfect candidate for my next watercolour painting; I knew it almost immediately. After a few hours of work (at work) I completed my second watercolour painting since I've started this blog.
