Normandy-based chill-hop artist, Reinder van Zalk, AKA Klaz is an established producer with an ear for inspiring and original tunes.

Klaz was born into a musical family, starting a natural route to be an artist and musician.

Growing up with a trumpet player as a father, Klaz found a love for new wave as a teenager, joined a band and then found his calling as a composer in the Netherlands, working within many genres including jazz and hip hop.

Klaz, known for his intuitive collaborations with musicians as a producer, is launching his own third album Comfortzone II in summer 2022. This new collection of tracks aims to create a listening experience that focuses on positive vibes and a spectrum of upbeat moods.  

Each track charts an atmospheric path exploring a theme or feeling, bringing in uplifting brass composition, soaring strings and fragments of conversation. The music moves from quiet solos to energetic big band flurries, picks up expressive vocalisation and is pushed forward by snappy percussion.
