I’m so tired of James being the “rebound” or the “jealousy” pick for Keith.

1. If he eats his food quickly, then he likes it. But if he’s eating it really slow he’s not enjoying it. Doesn’t really believe in “savoring” every bite because he savors it by scarfing that shit down

2. He’s has this very specific hoodie since middle school and somehow has STILL not outworn it. It’s a light grey hoodie, tattered at the pockets. On the front it has a fall leaf and in text it says “fall in love.” Keith actually barrows it constantly because it smells the most like James (I mean the guys had it for YEARS.) and is super comforting

3. He would love to do skin scare with Lance if it weren’t for the fact most of lances skin care has fragrances in them. His skin is sensitive (eczema..) and he has to use the plain stuff 💔 Lance officially accommodated at some point and they have a lot of fun nights together doing whatever

4. Doesn’t like most chocolates. He will take twizzlers over anything though. The word twizzler actually summons him in the MFE gc and that’s how Nadia gets his attention most of the time

5. Knows like a concerning amount of information about oranges & orange juice. He WILL tell you what brands are actually worth the money and which will give you a sore throat or sick

6. He had braces. Got them off, and then lost his god damn retainer. That’s it, that’s the head canon

7. A pretty weak immune system honestly?? Even the smallest shit gets him sick

8. Adores orange chicken. He WILL fend off anyone who attempts to take a piece of food from him (his brother mostly) I don’t have siblings

9. Has an intolerance to apples. Seriously he will feel sick every time he even has a little bit of them. They taste gross to him anyways so it’s fine

10. Loves the smell of lavender but doesn’t keep any of it on him in fear it’ll harm any animals. For example, kosmo!! He isn’t sure if it’ll harm him since that’s a space. Wolf. And not anyway earthly but does it just to stay safe

11. Has a brief habit of stuttering/repeating words while talking for longs periods of time (or generally when he’s very excited). This is mostly when his guard is down though

12. He cannot think. Or type for SHIT.

13. When ever he smiles or grins widely there’s a small crinkle under his eyes and small dimples (I didn’t know this about myself.. thank you to my bf…)

THIS POST IS ABOUT JANCE AND KLAMES HEADCANONS SO IF YOU DONT WANNA SEE IT MOVE ALONG:

-Lance being able to read James like a book when they’re around Lance’s family. He can see the yearning in James’ eyes when he hangs out with Lance’s siblings. James might have a sister, but his family definitely isn’t as close as Lance’s and it makes James Feel Big Emotions.

-James always cracks first when they argue. He knows his temper can get out of hand and he is always the first one to find Lance after they fight to alooogize, sometimes even if he isn’t entirely in the wrong; Lance is emotionally mature enough in his adult age to identify when James is taking on all the blame —-> they attend therapy together and have separate sessions sometimes to help them both with their emotional maturity (I hope this makes sense)

-Lance loves to cook with James, they share recipes they grew up with and love trying new things together.

-James spoils Lance, and I mean SPOILS HIM. Lance loves it

When Keith joins the mix:

Like, IN MY MIND, Lance takes up teaching at the Garrison after the war, and he and James often cross paths at work in the Officers Lounge, Cafeteria, School Duties, etc. and every time they chat, James finds that it’s so easy to talk to Lance. He doesn’t have to be careful what he says, because Lance is just a silly goofy guy and James loves it.

And Lance loves talking to James because for some reason, James lets him blab about whatever he wants. Movies he watched, what changes he made to his skin care routine, the latest hot gossip, all of it and it reminds him of someone. And after further thought, he realizes that James reminds him of Keith. Keith who he misses desperately because he’s always off on Blade missions and it isn’t until one day, when they’re both really in the gutters bc of the work load and they’re just complaining that they both stumble upon the same fact, “We both miss Keith Kogane”.

And then it’s like an extra weight is lifted off the two of them as James talks about his past with Keith and the yearning he’s felt since Keith returned to Earth and Lance talks about all of the complicated feelings for Keith that he had before and even after Allura passed.

Then, they both decide to go get their man together- or something like that.
