Juvia Lockser (Fairy Tail) Costest

Most of today was spent trying to figure out how nail art, ombre and sponges work

I haven't posted on here in a long while. I've finally made headway on my Juvia costume from the Eclipse King Arc from Season 2. My friend had actually started on it, but I ended up finishing it up. Definitely a lot of trial and error and learning. The top my friend made was way too big so I ended up having to shorten it somehow. This was also the first time that I made a pleated skirt as well, so I ended up having to redo the pleats several times. It's not perfection, but it is a start! I am currently in the middle of making my sleeves for the cosplay. I was originally going to go with ruffles, but decided on pleated ruffles instead. The choker was probably the easiest thing to make, but making and sewing bows on are not my fortè

It was so fun being Marinette in Paris! I can’t wait to get home and keep working on the costume :)

Then I used the design with Avery transfer paper after changing the colors a little, and I am generally happy with the outcome :) Up close, the transfer area is a slightly different color, and if you’re a perfectionist I would suggest lint rolling the shirt first. [transfer paper tips]
