ok realtalk for a moment, me as a person, iām really into the idea of platonic lifepartnerships, moirails and the like. for practically every fandom i get into theres one pairing that i hardcore ship platonically even when all the fans want the romance. thats just who i am as a human (actually that should be the new kenna askmeme - give me a fandom and iāll tell you my OTPlatonic Lifepartnership)
ANYWAY so fitzsimmons was that for AoS. i literally only got through season one because of my little science babies i love them so much. i honestly would have stopped watching halfway through but i needed to see simmons, i needed to see fitz, i love them so much, the season 1 finale ALMOST KILLED ME i was away at school for the first time and i literally had to call my mom to chat with her for an hour about the finale because it stressed me out so much???? dont kill my science babies (THE SEASON 2 FINALE WHY DOES THIS SHOW HATE ME)
anyway. the point of all this was that when the show finally went for fitzsimmons romance i accepted it because mainstream platonic love is not hip (yet) and at the end of the day the most important thing is that the two stars of the show love each other and i love them why is everyone else here i just want a fitzsimmons show

i think i will yes - not right away, maybe not until mid-june or something, but im honestly really worried what direction this show has been going (honestly mcu lately tbh) and then i heard this morning someone was dying tonight and i just. theres some people who if they die thats it im done. and others who if they die iād be really curious and interested to see why, and this person is on the lower half of that list so iām basically back there where i started, which isĀ āinterested in seeing where this show is going but not actually desperate to find outā so
(like, compared to the arrow which i might actually stop watching for reals this time, or the flash/supergirl which im p sure iām no longer watching. superhero shows just burned me out this last season)
