“Can I help you with something...?” After some time in the escorting business, Monica began to recognize the others - her competition. The ones that were stealing the secrets that could’ve been hers to steal. Or, perhaps, the ones keeping them. Maybe she ought to be less harsh - maybe she ought to try to make some friends and get the secrets out from them. Maybe she’d try that. She’d just have to see how the conversation went.

     “Can I help you with something?” He didn’t recognize the woman. Luca didn’t tell him that he’d been expecting any visitors. So why was he being approached by some stranger who didn’t look all-too-happy with her situation, whatever it may be? Matteo would admit that he was pretty good at remembering faces, and he couldn’t remember this woman at all. Therefore, he made his own decision to end the situation in its tracks, without bothering Luca about whether or not he should let this woman in. Widening his stance slightly, he crossed his arms over his chest, raising his eyebrows. “Mr. D’Amore isn’t accepting visitors tonight.” It’s definitely peacocking a little; Matteo knows that he’s no bodyguard, but maybe this’ll make Luca look at him in a better light.

      He recognized the girl. He’d seen her around Luca before. God - name - what was her name? Fuck. Just approach and pretend like you know her name. Plastering on a smile, he glanced her over, somewhat involuntarily. “Did Signore D’Amore send for you...? Or did he win you over so fully you just had to come back?” The last part was more of a joke - he knew the way the club worked almost like he knew the back of his hand. It drew people in. LUCA drew people in. So it was no surprise she had returned.
