Last week of July, I was super busy with pickups. On the same day, I picked up around 20 bags and Roos and Rabbits across 4 different Disney stores in the morning, mailed them shortly after collecting them, and then ran over to Tokyo Big Site for another pickup. I then had a work thing that night.

While exhausting, I forgot how much fun it is. Japan Post in Yokohama actually went very smoothly, much to my surprise; I was invited to sit down and enjoy an ice coffee and then told that I could go and come back later to pay at my convenience. Compared to the horror that was the week before, I was in shock.

For those who participated in the honey pot pickup, thank you for taking the time to mail me to tell me your items arrived. I’m so happy.

For those of you scratching your heads over the 7/24 shipping tracking numbers and what the INCOMPLETE meant, it should be fixed now. I had to go back to the origin post office and sign forms they should have had me sign on the day of shipping. I’m so angry they didn’t even bother to call me about it; I had to hear from someone who was worried about their alpacasso and then go in person almost a week later to find my packages still sitting in a crate for mailing, as no one bothered to call me. If your tracking still says incomplete, please let me know.

A big typhoon is coming Friday, so the most recent orders in the past week I’m trying to get out now and tomorrow to the post office. I cannot ship when there is a typhoon; your packages will get destroyed as I’m a fair walk/ride to the post office, and my breaks on my bike do not function properly in rain. I’m going big packages to small packages right now, so if you’re a small package, you might not get shipped until this thing blows over by Sunday. I will try to make as many trips as I can today, but I’m rather exhausted from this morning.

For those of you who asked about Louis, thank you. He’s doing much better, but it’s so hot and out of the other kittens, he’s not doing so well with the heat and he becomes dehydrated very quickly. At least with the typhoon, it’ll cool off this heatwave some. Lucky me doesn’t have AC and we’re experiencing average temps of 35degrees, feels like 41degrees.

Q&A:

1) When will I be invoiced for my shipping?

If you selected the invoice feature, I will ship and then invoice you. If you do not pay your invoice within 48hrs of receiving it, you will be banned from future purchases and depending on cost, I may choose to pull your item back to Japan and keep your payment as a restocking fee or let it continue on it's way to you. In some situations, you may need more time, and I'm more than willing to accommodate and in other situations, I may wave your cost of shipping if it's only a few dollars as a free service.

2) What's the difference between invoiced shipping and free shipping?

Invoiced shipping should only be used for pick up items only.

at has free shipping with an item that does not, you will still need to pay for the item that doesn't have free shipping.

3) Where's my tracking?

Please choose a shipping method that has tracking. Free shipping does not come with tracking, but you may still choose a tracking number. I can not help you find a pacakge that hasn't arrived if your order doesn't have tracking on it. From December, all orders it will be mandatory to pay for tracking. I know this sucks, and I'm sorry, but I have to do it to protect myself and my customers - I was threatened in May by a buyer over the period of a month, who not only told me they were going to sue me, but promised personal harm, even though I had not only provided a tracking number, it was delivered 10 days after the order was placed. If I had not provided a tracking number, I would have believed it to be 100% my fault and lost a lot of money.

4) When can I expect orders placed before today to ship?

Tomorrow! I have a ton of orders packed in a box to go in my bike basket. I got a couple petite plush back, which was my fault because of an address switch and the post office catching it. All the pick-ups from the past two weeks are done and packed. I have one that isn't packed yet (I'm also reminded of another person I forgot to pack, oops, doing that now) though, that'll go Thursday. If your order was delayed in shipping by more than one week, I have included something incredibly awesome for you in your package. 

4.A.) When are your shipping days?

From this week, I will regularly start shipping orders on Mondays again. In some cases, I may choose to ship same day as a pickup. 

5) When are your pick-up days for the Pokemon Center?

I go on Thursdays and/or Fridays, and sometimes Saturdays. I cannot go the week of the 10th every month. Work reports for my full time job are due on that date, and I am stretched to my thinnest at that time and for a day or two after.

6) What if I have a request for an item pick up from the Pokemon Center that's not listed for pickup, or if I can not find it?

Some items aren't listed because they either sell out very fast and the chance of me getting them are low, even on release day, or they aren't very popular items to me to stock. If you have a request, I can see what I can do, but I can't promise anything. In the future, I hope to have a type of prepay credit system to put in place. More on that in December. 

6.A) What if I want you to pick up a different item?

Unfortunately , unless it's a store pickup, I cannot do mail item deliveries at this time. This includes Yahoo Japan. The old tenants of my apartment didn't unregister properly from their mail, so I am having a terrible, costly time right now trying to get my mail delivered to this address, even though I've notified Yamato and Japan Post there is a Leah living here and all packages with that name should be delivered to this address. And when I say costly, I mean I've at least dropped 80$ in carriage fees trying to have things redelivered multiple times.

7) How long does it take for you to get back to me if I send you an email/ask?

It may take me some time because there is no dedicated email address for the new website and the KBSArpaka address was voided. All mail is going to and coming from my spam email, which I use for paypal.

8) Will you be doing lucky bags this year?

Yes and no. I'll be doing 5 pre-made limited edition lucky bags this year, with one bag as a giveaway to all new and old customers who've purchased something from PopkawaiiCulture. This won't be until January. If you want something sooner, please message Alpacaloco.

9) What's your blog section on your website, and why is there nothing there?
