My lovely wife, @gravecat, wanted @wingstop fries for her #birthdaymeal. So, naturally, I got some wings and fries too. They gave me this HUGE bag... and then #BabyBittles found it and it became her little #hideaway for #kittybathtime. She’s our #foreverkitten. Cats can suffer from #mental development issues just like humans. Bittles exhibits classic signs of Autism Spectrum Disorders such as obsessive compulsive behaviors, sensory overload reactions, and the need for constant reassurance like many children on the ASD spectrum. The only time she wanders very far from her mama or myself is when she’s hungry and goes to the kitchen for food and water. Otherwise, she always has us within eyesight. When having sensory overload episodes, we create cocoons out of blankets and create small spaces with pressure so she can chill out. The bag was darker than the bedroom, and it made her feel safe. I love this cat more than I ever thought I’d love a cat.
