Hi!!! I saw the sweets talk and wanted to join in! In the uk theres a lollipop called dobssons which I always subconsciously imagined tango carrying (even though they aren’t wrapped) and ironically they were how I stopped smoking so Thats probably why I think of them.
Also in France they have these weird ones called carambars which are chewy caramel on a stick !

Kitty anon, these are the lolipops they sell at like craft stores here in the US. They have such fun flavors so sometimes I would get one as a treat but they are so. hard. to. eat. they're like massive??? they do not fit in my mouth. and it always made me sad because like, i want the fun flavors.
Ironically, I did joke that this is a brand Tango would use. and with his sweet tooth, yeah maybe as a treat. but i cannot see him sticking one of these in his mouth and being able to speak at the same time. this is a Lock In sweet him. The truth is that I think Tango has those really cheap like, round and flat suckers that they have out around valentines day. like full doctors office type of candy. Because you can get them in bulk and then have a stash for cheap. This also gives me room to make up whatever flavors I want because I love dumdums but I wrote the candy to have a "flat side" in chapter one and theres no going back from there I guess. also...its a little more risque for Jimmy to take a Doctors-office-style candy than it is for him to take a dumdum, to me.
I have has a caramelbar thing before!! I've only seen them pop up around halloween but maannnnn they are good. I'm also a big fan of those candies that you get in mexico? they come on sheet of plastic and you roll it up on the stick and then eat it. soooo good. man I love candy. This reminds me I have timtams in my kitchen and I should eat all of them.
