The small black cat, formerly the human commander of the Wardens, slunk down the alley towards the place where she knew she would be safe. Luccio did not know how this had happened, and she needed somewhere where she could rest, and figure it out. Goodness knows she wasn’t willing to go to Harry for help with this particular problem – so Lash it was. 

Her apartment had an open window. It took a bit of acrobatics, but she made it to the windowsill. Lash’s apartment looked so big from this perspective, but there was a comfortable chair in which to curl up. Kitten-Luccio snuggled into the soft cushion and found herself purring. Before she could fully process this, she drifted into a light sleep.
