Genuine question, do you count Pinning(Pinterest) art, specifically pinning where it links directly to you/the artist directly and says the name of the blog(along with a direct link), as reposting? Or just like pinning the pic without the link back/saving then posting seperatly?
I count all of it as reposting since it makes me lose control of my art and my ability to speak for my art and it would be an awful experience to find out people were making fun of me behind my back. I'm also mildly uncomfortable with the idea of people finding my art from a different site and then finding me, because they don't find my art with tags and again that opens me up for harassment.
If people do ever repost my art, I still GREATLY prefer the ones that do link back to me, though!
That being said I don't mind people saving my art to personal files if they like looking at it or smth. It's really the distribution part of pinterest and my inability to edit/delete my art that makes me uncomfortable.

Headcanon Della has no idea who is the other parent of HDL
She makes good "friends" with a new person every other adventure she goes on, and was nervous to tell Scrooge and Donald that she was carrying bc she know they'd figure it out quickly, especially if she never even mentioned The Other Parent
They never bring it up though since Della herself never brought it up, and they're not about to interrogate her on her own decisions
This is a big part of why Donald took over caring for the eggs after the SoS incident, he would've done it in a heartbeat anyway, but with no other parent in the picture, it was really down to him to raise the boys

I still love and adore TF, I just haven't had the inspiration to finish anything for it lately! And it's frustrating that Tumblr has marked my TF blog as explicit bc my old shockbee posts that were SFW won't show up in the tag at all (along with all my other sfw posts :C) cuz I love shockbee ! I've never felt the urge to draw it (tfa bee isn't the easiest bot to draw for me) but I find it lots of fun. Shockwave clearly has a sorta one sided rivalry with Bee, and that's fun to expand on! It's one of those ships with just enough canon interaction to push it into "fun to speculate about" territory (along with most of Shockwave's ships tbh)

Well uh, I’m gonna just ignore that first part and treat this as a good opportunity to blab more about how interesting Moomin’s history is!
Short answer: 1) I don’t really have to justify my art to anyone, I draw what I want and I share what I draw with those I think might enjoy it2) Moominvalley 2019 played a love song during a scene of Snufkin and Moomintroll wandering the forest with the dragon and it’s absolutely not a song that can be mistaken for platonic love nor Moomintroll wishing for the dragon to pay more attention to him (video link)
Longer answer:
Tove Jansson wasn’t a straight woman; I’m not sure how she defined/labeled herself if she did at all (especially because I don’t know queer culture in finland) but she dated men and women! (more below the cut)
According to Wikipedia’s sources that are either not super easy to access in english or I am not buying for the sake of answering this ask (like this book and this page) it seems she related strongly to the character of Moomintroll himself (and little my), and his life and struggles in her work could be seen as a fictional reflection of struggles she faced in her own life. An example would be Comet in Moominland, which was written around the time of World War 2 and deals with a great deal of natural disasters and somber stories, which was probably likely inspired by how scary WW2 was and nuclear weapons and all that fucked up shit. It looks like she also wrote Moominvalley in November after her mother died.
This page has someone going into depth on how Snufkin was based on one of the people Tove Jansson loved in her life, and I’m not going to copy-paste all of that here but I encourage reading through it!
Too-ticky was also inspired by her long term girlfriend, Tuulikki Pietilä. It’s interesting to note that as far as I know, Too-Ticky and Snufkin never appear at the same time in the books? I might be wrong about that, though.
Point is, Moomintroll and all the characters of Moominvalley were emotionally significant to Tove Jansson, and whether it was intentional or not it’s not hard to imagine her real life influencing how characters interact, and it’s certainly not out of the realm of possibility that her romantic relationship with the person Snufkin was inspired by could influence how she wrote Snufkin and Moomintroll interacting.
Am I saying I believe all of this and that things were intended to have queer undertones? Not really, but I’m not Tove Jansson so I couldn’t possibly ever know! However, I do think after looking into her life a bit more I highly doubt that she would find queer people relating to Snufkin/Moomin and creating art of them offensive. When I read/watch moomin things, I feel Tove Jansson’s telling stories she found important to share, and as a children’s book illustrator I’d think she’d encourage relating to characters and learning life lessons from them.
This is all speculation in the end, though, as she has passed, but if you’re opposed to the idea of people drawing art of Snufkin/Moomin, at least know that it’s being done in a way that’s respectful of the source material.
I’d also advise you to reconsider why you’re opposed to that idea, and I’d suggest just letting artists be artists and not asking for justification of their art unless you truly want to know the artistic progress behind what they create!

After reading a few Phantom Blot comics, it only makes sense that The Phantom Blot was in the funzo suit this whole time. Dude loves wearing costumes on top of costumes. And by that, I mean he literally dresses up his Phantom Blot costume with more costumes. Of cOURSE it would be him in the Funzo suit.
