good question … a couple months ago my friend was telling me about an eidolon campaign she wanted to run as her first time, so I started scheming about creating the mathematically perfect toxic yuri with a friend. from that emerged PAIGE ANCELOTE (his) and VALENTINE SUNDAY (mine)

from the outside, the two seem to be a KIND AND LOVING COUPLE. PAIGE may be a bit shy, but VALENTINE encourages her to get out of her shell and get into fencing… and makes her some friends… and puts her on diets… and administers her estrogen… and is planning on hosting bake sale fundraisers for PAIGE’s bottom surgery at the beginning of the campaign. before they met, PAIGE was nothing, but thanks to VALENTINE, she’s quickly approaching perfection. she will bend but not break, no matter how much VALENTINE bends her.

of course, I’d be remiss not to mention that the game itself is Eidolon GOOSEBUMPS, in which every Eidolon name is a Goosebumps book by R. L. STINE. PAIGE has [THE KNIGHT IN SCREAMING ARMOR], and she’s a Virtuoso; with her blade and a symbol of her lady’s favor, she can be so obedient as to do anything— anything— VALENTINE orders her to. by contrast, VALENTINE has a much less directly combative ability as a Navigator; her Eidolon [MY BEST FRIEND IS INVISIBLE] can sense secrets. any what better was is there to sense secrets than with a blacklight? or 11?

after their camping trip with VALENTINE’s good friend PSEUDO-JOHANN SCHOCH and mysterious woman of the woods ALLISON ROSEWATER goes awry, dragging them into the MISTS and encountering all manner of creatures of vampiric legend, it’s only a question of if they can make it out… alive!
