Ever since Kithka was just a fledgling, he loved to observe all life around him, mimicking the voices and mannerisms of people and animals alike. He wished he could have gone and played with them, but due to his innate ability to petrify anyone with just one look into their eyes, Kithka has had to stay in the shadows where he can't hurt anyone.

When Kithka got older, he realized he didn't fit in with his flock due to his unusually inquisitive and outgoing nature that puzzled the rest. He just couldn't find his place like the others did. Most cockatrices preferred their solitude among their own kind, but living as a rogue wasn't unheard of. Eventually Kithka did decide to leave his old life behind and find a new one outside the narrow bubble that used to confine him. It was risky, since cockatrices were often feared by all, but he was optimistic and determined to break through the prejudice! Nothing a friendly smile couldn't fix, right?

To prevent accidentally petrifying others, Kithka uses an eyemask only he can see through.

On his travels Kithka has learned a lot about different ways of life by befriending anyone who was willing to give him a chance and becoming even more invested in all the curiosities the world had to offer. He still has a lot to learn, like how to read people's emotions and express his own effectively, since he struggles with establishing long lasting relationships with others.
