The photo of the lizard creature was taken with night vision. “There was a sighting of an odd, lizard-like creature skulking around last night in a barnyard. The barn itself was found broken into, not to mention that all the cows were gone by the time the police made it over to the farmer’s house. The witness described the creature to be aggressive, and strong enough to break through the walls, not to mention carrying the stolen cows with each ONE arm. The witness explained that the cops tried to intervene but were met with an electrical bolt to the NECK from a taser.”

“Yowch...”

“Witnesses say that these things are dangerous, strong and unstoppable, so my advice? DO NOT ENGAGE. And if you are all thinking about going out during the night, I would highly advise against it. Although this begs the question, what ARE these giant lizards? Where do they come from, and where are they doing to strike next?”

“Well, there go my plans.”

"Why does everyone always think I'm going to kill them? That's not always my end motive, you know." Kit snorts, amused, but it's a logical conclusion to come to. After all, the Chameleon doesn't break into the homes of people they don't intend to kill or to use in some fashion. There's always been rumors of Kit's violence, but most people who encounter it don't live long enough to confirm if it's true.

Still, they grin at Beau, practically laughing in the face of his fear.

"No, I don't intend on killing you. You haven't done anything to piss me off. Yet." Emphasis on the yet. They tilt their head, sipping the wine they stole from his cabinet straight out of the bottle.
