“It’s great to, uh, kinda get into the mix of it all and show that side of the world that people, like, they don’t usually see it. So, it’s good, ‘cause I grew up like that, too, in a mixed - mixed races. Living on the reservation, it was kinda hard ‘cause there’s that turmoil between my family ‘cause we weren’t full blooded and like all the - the people living on the rez, they just kinda thought of us as, like, the white man. [...] I’m just glad that we get to share this human story with everybody who doesn’t really know what it’s like to, uh, to be Native, I guess.”
