It took me a lot of time to really digest everything that’s been going on considering the situation. I listen to all types of music on a regular and have been listening to kpop since I was a preteen.

I remember immediately seeing the obvious inspo from black American people in the music, fashion and many more that even still gets used today

When I saw that live stream, I was definitely disgusted but sadly I was not surprised. This isn’t the first time that black people have been insulted and mocked by idols and it surely wouldn’t be the last

It’s like certain people still refuse to believe that black people are also human beings and not just a concept, trend or a moment.

ALSO I’M IRRITATED BECAUSE I JUST KNOW FOR A FACT THAT THERE ARE GOING TO BE NON BLACK PEOPLE, (NON BLACK KPOP FANS) WHO ARE GOING TO ACCEPT AN APOLOGY THAT IS NOT FOR THEM

Sadly, I’ve seen these incidents before and it’s so offensive

ALSO THE KPOP IDOLS WHO ARE BORN AND RAISED IN THEIR COUNTRY ARE JUST AS MUCH AT FAULT
