like the people directly around me were lovely. they all did the mad assist when the drumstick was fumbled. As ghoulodont mentioned, the girl who got Ciriced was the highlight. I have never seen anyone be that excited in my entire life. everyone would be so lucky treasure things and extract joy from things as much as she did. also Richie gave her a pick and she screamed just as loud.

also this is going to sound bad but here me out - they only throw so many picks. ive been lucky and that’s been pointed out to me. ive also been unlucky. during imperatour i caught zero things at the 5 i went to and my vip was ruined and they kicked us out before encore. i missed the one and only time they came to my country in the last 5 years because i had covid and had to sell my ticket.

don’t get me wrong I AM GRATEFUL AND I DO FEEL LUCKY. but I’m also not extremely wealthy. I didn’t get to see ghost for like the first 5 years of being a fan because i had no money at all. I try to sacrifice so I can save up to do what I do.

I feel like there are a lot of people that are getting salty because they didn’t catch something. like being outright rude to strangers and basically throwing a fit. i DO acknowledge people are being priced out of getting barricade. i DO agree that the prices for vip were batshit insane and I only went because two lovely people helped me.

but also it is super weird to make people feel like shit for catching things. ive been to 19 rituals. i did not always catch something. i do try to dress up and make signs and freak the fuck out which helps get you noticed which usually gets something thrown in your direction.
