On Thur & Saturday last week, I installed three Solar-charged street lights. I believe street lights, esp solar powered, are a great deterrent to petty thieves. I also believe they can boost the efforts of the police as they carry out their patrol. Beyond Aug 08, my plan is to bring together the landlords of Kinoo, so we can grow ideas that will foster the security of our community. Kinoo needs to go to the #NextLevel - it starts with securing our lives, properties and interest. Security in Kinoo is not the best. As the MCA, I shall work with the Police, DO’s office & other stakeholders to craft better strategies to combat the many muggings & home break-ins. We need to install solar street lights - the kind that automatically light up in the evening and off in the morning. Assisting the police in their patrol efforts, as well as improve business hours.
Security needs a communal solution. When our community is safe, we shall attract more business. I shall also seek to grow the nyumba kumi initiative as well as other means of combating insecurity.
