@Ron {Been running so long I've forgotten how to stand still}
Ferdinand was so sick of running; he hated being tied into Addison's stupid mistakes. This wasn't freedom. It wasn't even close to freedom. He was tired, tired of hiding, tired of Addison, tired of trying to keep her safe when she was making it so damned difficult for him to do it. He couldn't protect her anymore, not from this. He couldn't let himself protect her. She'd gone too far this time. He hadn't done anything. Not really. If there was one thing he was sure of, it was that. He wasn't guilty here, and he shouldn't be punished. Addison was.
He packed all of his belongings into his rucksack, a sealed envelope in one hand and his wand in the other. He looked at his surroundings for a long moment, taking in the trees and the multicoloured leaves on the ground, hoping to god he'd never see something like this under these circumstances again.
He turned on the spot and Apparated beside an old red telephone booth somewhere in muggle London. Muggles passed him with unseeing eyes as he stepped into the booth and dialled, 6-2-4-4-2. He announced himself as Ferdinand Grey, turning himself in. The phonebooth came to a grinding halt and the doors opened. He wasn't sure what to expect next, but he knew it was going to happen quickly.
A team of wizards, maybe seven or either of them, were surrounding the booth when he stepped out. Their wands were all raised, as if they expected him to try something stupid. He stepped out of the phonebooth, holding his wand out in front of him by the tip to be taken from him, surrendering to the wizards all around him. "I want to talk to someone," he said in a clear voice. "I have information. About my sister. About Natalie Parkinson."
