In spite of planning this well in advance there were several factors that impacted on the shoot. 

Harbour shot - our plan was to shoot the band from Tayside Harbour with Dundee shoreline as a backdrop. On the day there was a dense fog and the shore was completely fogged out. 

Studio Shot - we had booked Studio 1, a large room with no natural light and had two LED lights to brighten this, on arrival we found studio 1 double booked and had to use room 2 which has a large window which backlights the room. The position of the band was dictated by the drum podium and layout of the amps.

I took some shots at band height and some from below to compensate for the backlighting and to give more of a performance perspective.

On reflection I gave myself more work than if I had shot some of my fellow students ,but dealing with problems as they arose and still managing to get my shots gave me a feel of how it might be in a real setting.
