Hi! A couple days ago, I bought a black 'crystal'. The lady said it was a black quartz but I didn't believe it, i tried to break it but it didn't. I burned it and started to 'sweat' black liquid. I thought this could be some paint but i did it over and over again and the stone was still perfect. Would you tell me what kind of stone can it be? Btw it was extremely cheap. Thanks for the help!
Oh that certainly sounds sketchy. Try scratching it with a steel nail. If the nail does damage to it, then it’s definitely not quartz. Is it shaped like a hexagon? Try sending me a picture, and I’d be happy to help further :)
