i drafted a longer post w my full thoughts but in short i felt it was an okay chapter ^_^ some of the emotional beats are lacking imo and thats probably bc the resolution feels quite sudden (half the runtime of other arcs if im not mistaken) but i don't dislikeee it. if anything, i agree w the outcome and i like kinemi and yatoras friendship a lotttt a lot a lot . i just wish it had a bit more time to marinate , with a heavier focus on kinemi's perspective . i feel like she had better screentime during the mikoshi chapters where the povs were more balanced and the payoff felt supported.. hmm ill think about it . 🤔

#like the scenes didnt feel cohesive this month #instead it felt like i need to get from point a to point b now #and i cant shake the feeling that kinemi was a Convenient character #just as ando felt convenient for the beginning when literally anyone couldve played that role and given it more weight #by the established connection they share w kinemi #instead he just made it feel Weird and stilted. as he always does hashtag andohater #kinemi #yatora #blue period #blp 84 #blue period spoilers
