Dragongirl by Todd McCaffrey
So, I think I see where this story is going, and even though normally I totally fall for the main character and want all to go well for them, I seriously still want Kindan and Lorana to get the happy ending... not Fiona. Like, I don’t know what it is, but I’m not a fan. I guess I should feel bad, but it’s still all about Kindan and Lorana. It kinda looks like one or both are going to die or something still in the name of sacrifice or whatever too, but couldn’t we just put Fiona in that place instead? :P
ugh, she actually annoys me. I think it’s actually that I’m annoyed with the story itself. The characters seem dull-witted, the story is slow. I’m not satisfied with what’s happening to Kindan and Lorana.
It started on a good note too; I was grumpy about all the negative comments on Amazon because I thought they were just raging unjustly, like they were simply mad that Todd and not Anne had written it.
Thing is though, as I read on, and for pages and pages the conflicts and resolutions aren’t developing, I begin to get a little negative myself. I even wondered if maybe she wrote the beginning and he took over afterwards, and they just said he wrote the whole thing? I did like the other books he wrote though.
Man, I feel kinda bad to say things like this, but I’m a little worried I can’t wrap up the series. And I’m so close....
I did get some things I wanted though, like a female blue rider (I wanted her to be a bronze rider to be genuine, but close enough).
