You know, lately I've been wondering how it would be if we got back together again, and at first it feels comforting and welcoming. Then I remember everything is 110% totally different and flipped it has me dumbfounded and terribly homesick. When I actually start to consider it and realize that it would probably be good for about a week or so and then eventually the old patterns would kick in, and we'd begin to fall back. It would be nothing like it was when we began, what we (both?) were trying to bring back. When you still used to write me notes (i still have them) and we wanted to go places together, and cute thoughtful gifts. I keep telling myself that its for the best and to keep pressing on but fuck am I still so rooted in that past, but I guess this is what I deserve. I can only hope our story hasn't ended just because a chapter has, I hate cliffhangers. Though those 52 reasons will stand true still even after all this shit we've put ourselves through.
