“The Last Train of Us”
I missed the train at 23.10 PM while everybody's been home already. As a fool I stepped my feet on the same floor as 'someone', with no one else inside the room. We shared the stare, but no word came out. He's unapologetically fine that night, so I decided to watch him from a distant sight.
Minu was my longest partner before we took everything's behind, and it's been a year since he's not around. I remember that his city is no longer LA, but is this our faith to be meet each other again after all this time? We kept in silent, whilst my cloudy gaze were still slightly towards him, hoping that we could mend the hole of the past. Yet with how he's stay still, I knew it'd be no use.
Miles after miles, minutes by minutes gone. Minu didn't move, but only embraced his belonging. And finally it's time for me to get off the train, with a little sore in my wish. Moreover, he didn't see me for the last time even a glance. All I only could is giggle a bit, escaping the fact that I should meet you again in this cruelest way.
'hope you're doing good. i'm going back to Oakland.' A new message with a new number popped up in my phone, and it's coming from Minu. He's making sure that I was guarded reaching LA.
