kimcardassian replied to your post:the nice thing about quietly imagining alan...
was there a logical progression here i should know about
yknow i wouldn't call it logical or anything
i was ogling the nice image search results of rickman you linked to because ~memories~ and somewhere down in those results is a drawing that looked a lot more like RDJ than rickman (it might even be of RDJ i didn't click on it to see) and from there my brain went, like,
-lol remember all of RDJ's weird british-ish accents in various things
-rarr remember RDJ's Sherlock and how absurd that was but how enjoyable and non-awful in comparison to BCC Sherlock wankery it all was? and how HOT RDJ can manage to make a set of long johns and woolen socks?
-alan rickman is such a good sport but he doesn't get the same credit for good sport-ness as RDJ because he gets much less silly roles
-they are BOTH such good sports

kimcardassian replied to your post:thanks for the article! turns out it wasn't surprising i never heard of it : in europe races aren't a thing ^^' well they are for some very narrow-minded people but most of us know that biologically there's no such thing as different races for humans so it's no surprise we don't have this kind of discussions. thanks again tho, it's always good to learn new stuff :)
am i missing some serious context here or is anon saying that europe doesn’t see race. the europe with regional discrimination against romani, jewish, irish travellers, moroccans, caucasus, polish. that europe.
the europe that just elected a bunch of literal neonazi fascist parties? yeah that one

I was tagged by dear tygerwolfe
Rule 1: The Doctor lies- Always post the rules Rule 2: Answer the questions the person who tagged you asked and write 11 new ones. Rule 3: Tag 11 people and link them to the post. Rule 4: Actually tell them you tagged them
Questions I Was Asked:
1.) If you could become an Animagus (Harry Potter style), what would your animal form be and why?
A chihuahua, because I'm already small and loud.
2.) What was the first book/tv show/movie that you got into so deeply you found yourself dreaming about living within it’s world?
Oh, kind of Winnie the Pooh; when I was really, really young. I had a bit of woods in my backyard, back then, that I pretended was the Hundred Acre Wood.
3.) What’s your favorite NONFICTION book of all time?
Excluding cookbooks, I don't really have one!
4.) What’s your favorite fiction book of all time?
The Color Purple
5.) You trip at the top of a short flight of stairs while carrying something in both hands. The world seems to slow down around you. What are your thoughts as you watch the floor rising to smack you in the face?
"Crap, this is going to hurt!"
6.) What have you done in your life that a younger version of you never would have thought you’d EVER do?
Nothing comes to mind at the moment.
7.) Flight, super-strength, super-intelligence, invisibility, or shape-shifting?
Flight! I should have picked some kind of bird for the first question.
8.) What’s the last video game that sucked you in so badly you suddenly looked up and realized hours had passed?
None recently enough that I can recall!
9.) What’s your tv show/movie/book guilty pleasure?
Austin & Ally and Jessie.
10.) “Can you stand on your head?”
No. I also feel like I'm missing a reference I should really know.
11.) Who’s one person you’ve never met in person who’s made a huge impact on your life?
Chris Sanders. Not only is Lilo & Stitch, which has had a huge impact on my life, his brainchild, be he, in general, inspires me to be creative... And to never hide my craziness.
I'm only tagging a very few people. I'll tag:

04. Which fairytale is your favorite? (That doesn't count Disney versions.) Why?
05. How would you do if you had to eat vegan for a month?
06. What song is stuck in your head right now, or most recently?
07. What sort of sounds are in your environment when you try to sleep? Do you like or dislike them?
08. What kind of hat do you prefer to wear, if you must wear one?
09. What's your least favorite color?
10. The last time you laughed hard, what caused it?
11. When you talk on the phone, do you stand still or walk about?

kimcardassian replied to your post:okay what did i learn from the first two episodes...
i really did give that show a shot, but it’s true that everyone i told was like “damn, you quit after the first few eps didn’t you”
I'm no stranger to shows with bad starts. The BFF said that he would definitely at least watch the third episode with me and then after that he'll decide if he can go on. I suspect that due to the prettiness of Dean I will just stick it on while I crochet until I've watched all of it. No promises that I'll actually like it, though. My problem is that I planned on doing that after the show was DONE, and it's still on air! I HATE watching shows that are still airing, what a pain in the ass. So I'm actually really hoping that the BFF will continue watching it with me because that means I'll watch it slower, which means I might end up not running out of show to watch until it's done. Is it on its last season? I can't remember. Ugh. You know what show should have got 10 seasons or whatever? Raising Hope. Or Stargate Atlantis. But nooooooOOOOOOOoooooo
